So, now that I am an inch closer to getting to my dream job because of a new internship I've recently obtained, I can say I am happy where I am. I might not be happy with certain people who have come and gone from my life but for the most part, I'm content. Speaking of new comers, there is a particular person who I must say took me by surprise the most. I can't say specific names so for now lets call him ... Bob.
Bob, is someone who I never thought in a million years I would be talking to again, yet alone hang out with. Now, with Bob, it turns out we have had history. We were kids in high school and we were your typical adorable little "unrealistic" couple. Years later, thanks to Facebook, we happened to find our way back to each. I have to admit I wasn't thrilled at the idea that I was talking to Bob again, but I let my gut finish sentence after sentence once Bob and I started talking. Instant messages turned into texts, texts into phone calls and before we knew it, we were hanging out. What happened after that?? I have no idea...as much as that doesn't make sense it does because for some crazy and unexplainable reason I am here gushing about a guy who surprisingly has made me smile these past couple of weeks and I can honestly say I am glad that I chose to reply to his instant message on Facebook.
Reality is, that no matter what you throw life, life will throw something better or bigger your way in the end.
